TILT: An Independent Thriller From Brainerd, MN
Check out TILT an independent thriller that I was glad to come on board as a backer. Set in the town of Brainerd, Minnesota, the story is about “revenge & forgiveness, betrayal & redemption, and second chances…small town style.” Filmmakers/screenwriters Julie Keck and Jessica King (also known as King is a Fink) has put together a video to explain what the film is about using the ever so popular Kickstarter where you can also contribute to help get this project up and running. So many of my filmmaker friends use Kickstarter and I can’t recommend it enough. I am all about helping locals and this is my latest discovery that I’m sharing with you
Drift: In Production
I was fortunate to find out about this new film project from Jim Vendiola of Kinosaur Films called Drift. The lovely ladies over at King is Fink love his work and looking at the teaser I may be on the bandwagon with them. It looks very intriguing and I’m looking forward to seeing more. Help out with donations and let’s get this local filmmaker up and running.
Remember to support your locals and show some Chicago love

Funny: Lady Parts
Lady Parts is a Chicago based sketch comedy troupe that I’ve recently stumbled upon. Though there doesn’t seem to be much about the show on the website itself , you can find out about the troupe and who they are. I would say sign up as a fan on Facebook and you’ll get a lot more information. So far they’ve gotten me to laugh so I thought I’d share it with you
Here’s their latest video Happy Valentine’s Day

COMANCHE Webisodes
Check out this new webisode by MustacheMeetFace Productions called COMANCHE. It’s quite hilarious and there are already 2 webisodes up. A college classmate Josh Gibson from Gibson Adventure is the DP and it was shot here in Chicago. Got to support the locals
