It’s been a while since the last posting. The reason being that I have been busy doing what I love, making films. No, not feature length or even profitable ones, just Production II short films from class. This production class compared to the one I had a few semesters ago has me playing many parts. I am doing lighting, script supervising, gaffer, cinematography, sound, and screenwriting. It’s an experience that only makes me feel that this is what I love. It’s hard work and love that makes you want to do the best work you can. I’m in my senior year and soon all this hands on will be over and the real world will kick in. I will admit that foremost I am a screenwriter. Fortunately with the advancement of digital filmmaking I will be able once again to play the many parts that I give much respect to those who have decided to master each one separately. I have a lot of projects planned for the near feature. I am anticipating the time after I graduate so I can do my own work. I can truly say that this semester has given me the confidence that I will be successful in whatever endeavors I take.
