I thought I should put this up as soon as possible because the deadline is near. The Flux, a website that showcases
independent and student short films, is having a film fest. It’s the 2007 iPod Film Fest sponsored by Small Dog Electronics and the deadline for entries is March 18, 2007. Yep, it’s around the corner. So get over there as soon as you can and add your submissions.
While you’re there click on some of the links provided. Especially click on “the shows” to see what your fellow filmmakers have been submitting and if you need help in choosing click the “start the engine” link to get their movie engine. On this page there’s a couple of pull down menus that allow you to choose a film based on your mood. You can choose a couple of moods ranging from have some fun to see some technical/FX achievements. It’s a pretty cool site that can help foster some ideas for your next film project. Can’t wait to see it.
I wish I had stuff that I thought was good enough quality to submit. I’m gonna try and go all out after spring break and make a music video, but I just hope I can get enough cooperation for it.
