After searching the web and constantly being sidetracked by all the cool new blogs that are out there today, I was fortunate enough to come across a blog/vlog called Project Pedal. It’s the work of Mike or Michael (couldn’t find a last name but I guess we can call him Mike) Mike Ambs and he’s been on this project for the past three years. When I came across the website I really felt as if I came across something that was really worthwhile to follow.
His journey is a documentary that will follow a group of people who will take a cross country bicycle ride from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean. There will be weekly blogs with emphasis on the people and lives that the riders encounter. I was really touched by the presentation of this vlog and found myself anticipating the journey that lies ahead. I encourage you to visit Project Pedal to find in much more detail about the documentary and also to let it affect you the same way it did me.
I decided that I would put episode 1 of Project Pedal on my website so you can really understand why this is much more than just a documentary about cycling from one place to another but about people and our interactions. I began blogging thinking that maybe I had something important to say and maybe there were at least two people out there who wanted to hear me out. I admit that one of those two people would have been my mom. But after spending time on my blog and meeting new people, I realized I saw this as more of a way to reach out and meet people throughout the world. Even if it’s just on the Internet. There are so many talented people who, like myself, just want to know each other for what we have to say, show, and feel. I think Project Pedal is a journey that emphasize that and it’s something I would like to share and to be apart of.

That would rock to do something like that!
